Fear is Supposed to be FunAs Austen and his mother merged into the unusually short line, his former apprehension of riding the wooden monster gave way to exhilaration and excitement. He had reason to be eager; this was to be his first "real" rollercoaster. Already having ridden the tracks in the toddler area, Austen felt that, now that he was eight, it was about time he took on something more thrilling. I suppose he thought that if he was so fixated on the subject of roller coasters, then there was no logical way he could dislike the ride.
